Since arriving back from Ireland, much have happened - even though it is fair to say my travels have come to a semi halt, at least untill last weekend in Valencia....

Soon after Ireland, I had my mum and dad come spend a couple of weeks with me. Soon after, Cornelia came over for Easter, and we managed to take a few days off London life and head to Manchester - where we caught up with Jamie, one of my old mates from TGS.

Visitors aside, I have started a new job working as a civil engineer for a company called Black and Veatch. It's a definite step up from my last UK job in terms of work and experience, and there are also a load of SANZA's in the office giving it almost a back at home like feeling....

I have also officially applied for another 2 year visa for the UK - fingers crossed it will come through before too long such that I will once again have a passport with which to try and continue my explorations....

Summer seemed to have arrived a few weeks back - but unfortunately, since arriving back from sunny Valencia, all we have had is cold winds and rain! Fingers crossed for this to change over the weekend!
