After almost 3 months since my final trip away from the UK, I finally managed an escape from London life thanks to my cousin's wedding back in Colombo.

Unfortunately our stay in Sri Lanka was short, and consisted mainly of family related activities including preparing for Chaminda's wedding and visiting other family members. We did however manage an escape to Benthota for a couple of nights, a beach resort further south of Colombo, where in addition to the beach - we were also able to enjoy a quick river cruise through local mangroves.

The wedding itself was a great experience. All went smoothly, and a great evening was had by all.

The rest of our trip involved a few days each in Bangkok, Ao Nang Beach (Krabi) and Kuala Lumpur... It has been over 2 months since the trip, and it has taken me this long to try and write up this post: So to put a long story short - Check out the photos :)
