Campervan Mark II

The next morning we decided to skip the next stop up north and head back to auckland to see if we could get another campervan. We eventually found and phone and they agreed to give us a replacement. We arrived at the depot at about 2:30 and transferred all of our stuff over to it. The new van was older than the first and the gears were a bit stiff but at least we could cook in it now. We turned up at the campsite we were due to go to the day after and asked if we could have another night. This campsite was not far from the city so we got the bus in and had a look round. Auckland and the rest of the New Zealand has a strange feeling of familiarity about it and we feel right at home especially after 6 weeks of America and Canada. We had something to eat and couple of drinks and came back to the van. Tomorrow we are going into Auckland again for some quality time.
