Blue waters and celebrities in Nice and Cannes France |

I went to France! What's even cooler than that is that I went to the French Riviera. Yes it is true...I swam in the Mediterranean! It was an unreal experience. I decided to go on this trip on a whim because 4 of my girlfriends were going. It was one of my best decisions ever.

The trip there was fairly long. We took an hour flight to Milan (which is such an ugly city) took a 45 minute bus ride to the train station, then hung out there for a few hours. We then took a 4.5 hour train ride to Nice. The majority of the train ride was along the Mediterranean so it was very scenic. I've never seen such beauty in my life. We even rode through Monnaco! I never in a million years thought that I would be going to these amazing places.

The first night we were there we hung out on the beach and drank beer. It was a very warm evening and we met some great people. The next day we woke up early and went to the beach! The beaches in Nice are rocky so we rented chairs for the day. It was the perfect choice. We had chair service so we got drinks and layed 10 feet from the water the entire day. Whenever we got hot we just jumped in the Mediterranean!

We had to end our beach day at around 3pm because the girls I was with were getting fried. Luckily I used sunscreen or I would've been in pain. We went out that evening to the Old Town area and had a fantastic dinner (I had steak of course). It was a very busy weekend in Nice because the Cannes Film Festival was going on in Cannes and the Grand Prix was going on in Monaco.

The next day it was rainy but so warm but we were too sunned out (is that a word???) so we spent the majority of the day shopping. We took a short train ride around 4pm to Cannes France and went to the famous red carpet. I have never seen so many rich people in my life. We saw paparazzi everwhere chasing people but we didn't know who they were chasing. We are assuming they were European actors so it was still cool. I felt very out of place but we got to see how the famous do it. There were VIP tents set up all over the beach which looked so amazing. We ended our day there at an amazing pizzeria where they made the pizza fresh by the owner right in front of us. That evening we went back to the beach then got gelato in the town square. It was a relaxing end to our crazy trip.

We left early Sunday morning and we were exhausted. The trip seemed very long but we got back around 5pm. Nice is absolutely beautiful and I strongly reccomend the French Riviera to anyone. It is so unforgettable! Enjoy my pics and I will add more later once I get them from the other girls. Love you all!!
