Emerald Lake |

Went into Yoho National Park, it has over 28 peaks which are over 3000metres in height. We drove to a place called Emerald Lake. It is a beautiful green coloured lake surrounded by huge mountains. We had some lunch before heading off on a walk, great view to eat lunch at. We went on a 5.2km trail that ran beside the lake. The first part of the trail was an easy walk, but on other side the trail was still covered in snow, so it made walking a bit more difficult. One section of the lake was still covered by ice! We threw a rock to see if it would sink but it just sat on the top! After the walk we went back to the van, but had to get jumped started because our guide had left the lights on! Just down the road we stopped to look at a place called the Natural Bridge, bit different to the one on the Gold Coast! On the way back to where we were staying, we stopped to go on another walk to a waterfall, but I didn't go, starting to get blisters on my heels. I stayed back at the van with another guy who is not feeling well. Tonight I don't think it will be as cold as its a bit cloudy, hopefully it won't rain or snow!!!
