Anthony came down from Scotland to visit for the weekend and we finally hooked up – I’m over the moon, he’s just such a fantastic boy! We had a really wonderful weekend, we had a great time on Saturday night at the Queen Mary, which is bar/nightclub on a boat that’s docked on the Thames and is frequented by mostly South African’s, so Ant was the token Brit, at least until his friend Lee arrived. I really couldn’t believe how South African the place was! Well, maybe I can – it’s really lovely and beautiful, and because it’s on the water maybe it reminds us all a little bit of home!

Anyway, on Sunday Ant and I went to Bath, which is where he went to University and so I got a real insider’s view. I had the HUGEST Yorkshire pudding filled with roast beef at a local pub, saw the Bathes, the town, the Royal Crescent and all the rest of the sights – there’s even a Jane Austen Museum that we narrowly missed the opening times for. Ian, we’ll have to go when you come – I just know you’d enjoy it as much as me (maybe more!!) So it was a lovely weekend. Since then I’ve been out pretty much every night, and Angie finally had the good sense to move to London so now I get to see lots of her, which is great!
