Hurray for Hollywood

The plan for today was to go to Universal Studios. It didn't open till 10am so we had a lay in and left the hotel at around 10:30 to get the bus down town and then get the Subway to Universal. We got on a bus at about 11am and thought it would be there in about 10 minutes. An hour and a half later the bus arrived at Union Station and then we thought the subway was closed so we switched the plan to go on a bus tour around the stars homes and see the hollywood sign. It turns out that the subway was open and we got it up to Hollywood and booked a tour at 3:30. We saw the names in the pavement on Hollywood blvd, had something to eat and then headed out on the tour. We went up to a view of the Hollywood sign and the Hollywood Bowl and then we went to Mullholland drive, Beverly hills, and Bell Air. Tour was quite interesting but the driver drove the bus like he was driving a farrari. After the tour we went to see the 'Wicker Man' which was a freaky film with Nicholas Cage. Afterwards we decided to get the subway all the way back to near our hotel and it went to plan until we got to our stop. Coming out of the subway we turned the wrong way and walked for about 2 miles in the wrong direction. Eventually we realised our mistake and turned around. There were no other people on the street and we started to get concerned that we would never get there. Eventually we got back at 11pm. Tomorrow we will try to get to Universal Studios again.
