South East Asia 2006

Angkor Wat |

Today we went Angkor Wat.

We started off the day watching dawn come over Angkor Wat itself and then wen for some breakfast. After breakfast we went to Angkor Thom - a walled off enclosure of almost 10 square km where we saw the Bayon and lots of other temples.

Other highlights of the day included the jungle temple, but of course the greatest highlight was Ankor Wat itself where once we got to the top we just chilled out for a while and where I could have spent a long time watching the afternoon sun and enjoying the cool breeze from being so high.

I apologise for the shortness but I'm trying to get up to date - and taking advantage of the fact I can upload photos at this place [in Phnom Penh where I am now].
