|We had a beautiful day for bridge climb today. Luckily my knees were good today so I decided to go ahead with the climb. We arrived at the climb office at 11:45am and checked in. We were taken through to a room to fill in a disclaimer form and have a breath test. We were then kitted out with our climb suits along with harnesses and radios
so that we could listen to the climb leader. We were then lead out onto the catwalk under the bridge, then we climbed the first set of ladders up to the bottom of the arch. The climb to the top was very gentle and we stopped regularly to catch our breath. At certain points along the way we had our pictures taken. Because we had to leave everything at base camp including watches etc we could not take pictures of our own. The whole climb took around 3 hours including kitting out. We were given a complimentary group picture and certificate and we aslo bought the rest of the photos on a single sheet. After the walk we went back to the room for a rest and then went into town for something to eat.
