Well after 30 degrees during the day and around 25 at night, Chile was a bit of a temperature shock. We arrived in flip flops and t-shirts to 15 degrees, getting even colder at night, so much so that we needed a proper duvet for the first time!
So we had to go shopping for a woolley jumper each because NZ will be just as cold, in fact, even colder!! By the way, shopping in Chile is recommended as its very cheap, although it is a little confusing as all the prices are multiplied by 1000. 1000 pesos= 1 pound.
Anyway, we're only here for 2 days so we don't see that much of Chile, just Santiago. Off to NZ the day after tomorrow. Keep you posted. xx |
