Bridge Walk

A late start again today. We made our way down to lower Manhattan again this time to walk over the Brooklyn bridge. It was quite a walk in the heat about a mile and a half. We got the subway back across and had lunch at a subway. We returned to spend more time at ground zero and view the list of names of those who were killed and see the time line of events from the day. Later we made our way up to Christopher street which turns out to be full of sex shops and fetish parlours. At Christopher street park there are statues of a gay and lesbian couple. We didn't stay long. As we are getting up at 4am on Sunday we made our way back so we can get some rest before then.
