THE HOT ADVENTURES OF A NOT COLD BIATCH

A day of rest but still funky like a chicken |

The 13th was a day of relajación as we rose late and finished early(ish). We chilled in the communal area of Santa Cruz where the internet is fought for and wandered the town of Baños.

I made friends with another teeny tiny girl of about 5 who found the fact that I couldn´t speak Spanish fascinating. She gazed up at me with these massive eyes and then offered me some of her food after I asked what it was. The aromas it was sending my way were most appetizing. An image of my disapproving mumma popped into my head so ¡alas! I did not accept. But I´d like to try it!

I had a most flavoursome pineapple juice, better than Golden Circle in the green tin, though, as it was freshly squeezed, had nothing more than a light creamy yellow colour. But for $0.50 it was a BARGAIN!!

I wrote letters to those worthy (just kidding) and took a trip to the supermarket where I bought:

- a coconut whose milk was most certainly on the dirty side and which proved excessively difficult to eat;
- a bag of giant walnuts which we cracked with a mallet and were a massive hit with those around;
- baby food which is a wonderful source of essential vitamins and tasty tasty; and
- Nutella to spread on my toast and bread if I so desire.

At around 5pm, Kristian spent some quality time in the kitchen cooking for us girlies. Woever said it´s women who should be in the kitchen most certainly hasn´t tasted Kristian´s stir-fry which was succulent. He perhaps took offence to the fact that I finished only about half of what was on my plate (I know, terribly rude but I have one hell of a cold and so was finding it difficult to force food down) but rest assured Leather Face that I enjoyed it muchly.

Heineken retired early, to be followed by the lovers so I sat up with my drink writing writing writing all this to catch you and me and the Australian Diamond Company up on the not cold adventures of a hot biatch.

We have spent all day havnig a ´rest day´. It has been nice and needless to say, not cold. We had Kristian´s stir fry for dinner and roasted marshmallows for dessert. They were roasted via candlelight. Vodka played a part in the evening´s festivities though was not finished as we are well-behaved childs. Music is somewhat sexylicious as John Mayer and Dido grace my night. The HOT Americans send a saaaaad times photo. =( They miss us cos we´re so damn good-looking.
