Blue Mosque |

The Blue Mosque. An amazing feat of architecture and beautifully silhouetted against an azure Turkish sky. Met a Turkish guy 'whos uncle owns a carpet shop' (they all do in Turkey), but he was nice enough to show me around the inside of the mosque including a few places that tourists aren't normally allowed to go.

The carpets were nice and so was the apple tea, not that I really wanted to carry around a carpet roll around with me for the rest of my trip!

Locations Visited: Istanbul

Have you been to the grand bazaar? It is pretty close to the mosque. Amazing spices...
