Amsterdam

Everyone has to go to Amsterdam. Next time I would choose a slightly warmer time of the year to do it. It was ok though as it gave us the excuse to go from hot coffee, to hot coffee (or hot chocolate for that matter) - they were all great.

We went at looked at all the things you go look at in Amsterdam..... red light district, canels, etc. Also, went to a cat refuge on the canel. We seem to find one of them in every city.

We also did a couple of trips out of the town. One to Haarlem and then another on a bus out to Volendam. On the way out we also stopped at a clog maker (one of those things you do in Amsterdam), cheese maker and an area with lots of windmills.

Must say, it was one of those weekends when we came home more tired than when we left.
