Topkapi Palace - The Sultans Harem | 31 Jul 2005

Fresh from the new world, this was my first visit to an imperial palace. Home to the Ottoman Sultans and their famous harems. Could be very liveable indeed

The Harem is well worth a visit (shame that it is currently 'unoccupied'). It is the best maintained and most colourful part of the palace. Love the gilded toilet (very kitsch)
