THE HOT ADVENTURES OF A NOT COLD BIATCH

One wicked show!!!!!! |

Went shopping with the girls in the morning. They walk sooooo slowly. I bought a saucy little black bikini to try and get rid of the ew gross tan line I´d gotten from my green bathers. Also got some Havaianas for cheeaapp!!!

Back to bed because was exhausted. Probably still trying to recover from friggin TipRat yakking on all night and then waking me up super early.

Little later we all got together to head for a drink and then saw honestly the most spectacular show I´ve possibly ever seen in my life. It was a combination of traditional dance, capoeira (their form of martial arts) and then just all this crazy acrobatic stuff. Easily one of the highlights of my trip. Better than Machu Picchu though I have a feeling a lot of people would definitely not agree.

Then dinner (spag bol) and went out clubbing. To a club called... wait for it... ´The Fashion Club´!!!!!!!!!! Who the hell calls a club ´The Fashion Club´??!!! I felt like Barbie! Had an awesome night actually, danced for ages and ages and started to bond with the group a little. Tried out a few different drinks but then stopped when I had no more moolah. Lots of Brazilian guys just don´t know how to take no for an answer but it´s awesome having Mark, the tour guide, there because he´s over 6´6 and SCARY looking if he gives you the death stare. So every time I had any trouble, I´d run straight to Mark and the guy would run away scared, apologising profusely to Mark. Hehehe.

When Vick and I arrived back to our room, we started munching on this big block of chocolate I´d bought earlier and given to her because I decided I most certainly shouldn´t be eating it. But of course the guilt soon overtook us and we decided we´d have to get rid of it asap. The bin wasn´t good enough, Vicki´s been known to retrieve food that I´ve disposed of in the bin to avoid the temptation. And we considered the poverty in Brazil and how skinny the maintenance men are in the hotel we were in, so as considerate young girls, we placed the block just outside the door in hope that it would be eaten when we got up in the morning. It felt like leaving food out for Santa!!

Adam and Ryan apparently almost had a punch-on on the way home. Ryan´s a Jehovah´s Witness and Adam´s a bit of a tool when he´s drunk so was giving Ryan a bit of a hard time about his religion. Didn´t go down too well as you can imagine. Dramas brewing already....

Two weirdo things:
- Vicki´s friend eats her skin when it peels off from sunburn.
- Vicki has a fear of running out of oxygen in a room. She needs to always have a window open.
