Dunedin dinny look like Edinburgh

Dunedin, Edinburgh of the south??!!? |

After a lay in and some leisurely breakfast we caught the bus into the town centre passing such streets as Dalgety St, Kircaldy St, Princes St and George St. Dunedin also has areas such as Musselburgh and Waverly. We saw the statue of Robbie Burns in the town centre and the famous railway station. We then went into Cadbury World (Are they going to pinch everything from us?) and had a look round the shops. We saw some gifts with 'Dunedin, Edinburgh of the south' even though it is nothing like edinburgh apart from a few churches. Later we had a walk down the beach at St Kilda which is where the campsite is and it was a beautiful unspoilt beach. We then had a meal at the racecourse and a few drinks which was again quite nice. Tomorrow we are off to Te Anau for a couple of days.

Locations Visited: Dunedin
