Eurotrip. Summer. 2005.

Nice, France | 24 May 2005

This was my second time visiting Nice in my lifetime. This is a beautiful city that is great for experiencing the local culture of its residence hand in hand with walking the main street along the waters edge.. lined with palm trees, casinos, discotheques, restaurants & fancy hotels. The Beach is really rocky, but it doesn't stop anyone from lounging out there and getting a tan. Nice is a small city, but it's one of my favourites. You feel like you're visiting a real city where people live rather than just a tourist town. They do not have hostels in nice.. so you'd have to stay in a hotel or b&b.. I bunked up with some other Canadians I found at the train station and paid about 12 dollars a night! I don't think anything remarkably interesting happend to me while I was there.. other than I got a massive burn and looked like a lobster!
