Pamukkale - Hierapolis |

The blinding white silica terraces of Pammukkale have been a favourite watering hole for ages now full of equally blindingly white Eastern European tourists (hmm and myself included - excuse the pics).

The terraces are very beautiful though. Right at the top of the terraces is the ancient spa town of Hierapolis together with more ancient ruins, a massive ampitheatre and the ruins of the Martyrium of St Phillip (together with the tombs of some long forgotten nights protruding from the hillsides). I think it could be a bit eiree to be hear at night!

Locations Visited: Pamukkale
