We arrived in Johannesburg airport late afternoon. Unfortunately being rather dumb we had been standing at the wrong luggage carousel (duh!) and by the time we finally found out baggage our lift to the hostel had left! Panic!!! We ended up employing the help of a local (not advised) to help us ring the hostel and get them to come back to us. Almost 2 hrs after our phone call, our lift arrived and we were finally on our way to the hostel. After meeting our tour leaders we went to bed as we had an early start the next morning....unfortunately I managed to wake up everyone else in the dorm by screaming very loudly in my sleep.....good way to introduce myself!!
