Eastern Europe 2005

I'm in Bratislava, Claudio has gone to bed. We've enjoyed a nice meal this evening with a few beers. Tres tres cheap, but the food could have been from the tesco down the road for all I know. CNN is on in the background, the yankee style new reporting is getting on my nerves already. God bless the BBC.

Eurotrip Summer 2005

The city is great if you want to visit a many sites. I saw Trafalgar Square (loved it!!), Big Ben, Went on the London Eye, Saw London Bridge & Tower of London, Went though Hyde Park many times, Kensington Park, Saw Kensington Palace, Buckingham Palace, Buckingham Court, Pickadily Circus (wow!) etc.

Southeast Asia

After 26 odd hours of traveling we arrived in Bangkok and checked into the Rambuttri Village Hotel near the backpacker Mecca of Khao San Road. It is a sort of clean hotel with a decent pool on the roof top--not too bad for 480 Bhat ($11 Canadian) per night.

Winter Eurotrip 2005-2006

Cold, disappointed, and HUNGRY, we marched our stiletto heeled selves back to the train station, where we stuffed our faces with McDonalds and called it a night.

A Week in the French Alps

First day of skiing was pretty good. Great powder - helped to have a soft landing for the first morning. The face plants became increasingly painful as the week progressed.

Latino Adventures!

We made it there at 7am and picked up all of our gear for climbing Volcan Villarica. Soon after suiting up in our waterproof gear and such we headed out in minivans to the Volcano stopping off along the way to get some food for lunch.
