In 2005, my friend and jazz colleague, Miss Sandra Kaye (Dallas, TX) referred me to the agent who books CJW Clubs in China. I began a 3-month engagement at CJW Clubs in Shanghai, China, on May 1, 2006. Today, marks the end of 6 weeks and I have 6 more weeks to go. The band is smoking, the audiences are wonderfully international and I am very grateful to Sandra for getting me this gig.

This has been one of the most delightful journeys of my career as a jazz singer. I spent 8 years touring Europe, but here in Shanghai, I've met more people from around the world than in any other location I've worked. So far, I've received invitations to go to Lebanon, Dubai, Cyprus, New Zealand, Australia, Sweden, Spain, Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore!

I am extremely happy singing in Asia and plan to stay on tour here as long as gigs come rolling in.
