Canada 05-06

Spent a weekend in Ottawa. It was supposed to be the first weekend of the Winterlude festival, a big winter festival with ice skating on the canal, ice-sculpting, snow sculpting, a whole bunch of things. Sadly due to the weirdly warmer weather Canada has had this year, most of it was cancelled. We saw some ice sculpting and were treated to the delights of a Tom Cochrane concert (an ageing crooner similar to Bryan Adams).

Fun weekend, but shame about the lack of Winterlude.
