Cuba

Havana |

We returned to Havana refreshed from our lazy days in Trinidad and threw ourselves into visiting its many museums and sights including the rum museum, cigar shops, museum of the revolution and numerous gorgeous little plazas with conveniently placed cafes to rest our weary feet and wet our parched throats (well, ok maybe we just liked sitting in them and gossiping).

However, apart from the sights, Havana is a place to simply soak up the atmosphere and marvel at the hotchpotch of transport from conked out ladas to bicycle taxis to horsedrawn carriages and of course, the huge old american cadillacs and chevys for which Cuba is famous. It was hot and busy, full of character and characters . . fantastic.
