If there were a BBoy/BGirl Olympics, this was it! Red Bull hosted a FREE event showcasing the best of 8 countries. Each crew had been sent an 8 minute mix tape in which they had 8 min of choreography to create. Canada was there to represent and I was there screaming and wearing my Raptors jersey proudly! Flying Steps from Germany took the title and £8000 cash money! They deserved it, there performance was off the hook! There peice was a typical day in the life of a bboy. The setup had a couch, TV w/playstaion and a table w/chairs ohhh and a huge dance space in the middle. At one point some bboy was spinning on his head with the chair still attached to him and a basketball weaved through his legs as he drilled.They won hands down for originality and creativity. Theatrical bboyin' at it's best!
To top the event off, Grandmaster Melle Mel & Scorpio performed some classic tracks live! One of the best hip hop events I've been to 4sure!!

After party was mad fun. Again, it was free and drinks included. Be warned too much Red Bull is not good for you! We were wired till the party ended at 5am!

This was the first event of it's kind and who knows maybe Calgary can represent Canada next year???
