Managed to get a bit of sleep on the bus though it was quite uncomfortable. We stopped for breakfast at about 6:30 and had coffee and toast. The bus then wound its way up the gold coast and we arrived in Brisbane bus depot around 11ish. Lucy and I could not fact haulling our bags around looking for the right buses etc so we opted for a taxi to take us to the hotel. The hotel is in a pretty quiet area and has ensuite so we are quite pleased. We had a short kip and then headed into town a bit to get something to eat.
